(3) tied by Moukden c.d.s. with a large bilingual c.d.s. on the reverse; the cover bears the unframed "St. Paul, Minn./Damaged in Mail Car Fire/at Luverne, No. Dak. Dec./31st 1920." struck in purple with London arrival on the reverse (Jan. 25). Still quite clean for a recovered letter. Photo
The fire broke out on a Great Northern Railroad on New Year's Eve and affected both internal and the international mail from China and Japan addressed to U.S.A. and Europe
