International Banking Corporation, China, a set of 1909 obverse and reverse proofs, Canton, including 1, 5, 10 and 100 yuan, all with eagle on building flanked by two globes on either side, each with different colours,
(Pick S401p-S403p, S404p), PMG 66EPQ, 67EPQ, 64, 67EPQ, 64, 66EPQ, 64NET (internal tears), 64. Interestingly some has printer's annotation on reverse with 'Hong Kong'. The only series with the 'Sha Mian' place name in the bank name, hence all notes from this series extremely rare. A highly important set (8)
