Government of Thailand, 50 baht overprinted on 1 dollar, ND (1945), serial number A/17 46845, (Pick 62Bb), PMG 40EPQ. PMG census SINGLE TOP POP AND the ONLY example with EPQ designation. An extremely rare WWII issue that was printed by the Japanese then later obscured over with black overprints by the Thai Government due to a shortage of notes. These were issued after Japan's surrender in August 1945 then were shortly withdrawn and no longer accepted in December 1946. A short circulation issue in excellent condition for type that is likely missing in many collection. Not to be missed.
