Mercantile Bank of India, Hong Kong, $5, 29.11.1941, serial number 205825, (Pick 235d), PMG 35EPQ. Though the more common date but its condition is anything but. Very fine examples can be seen in the market but often with various defects like stain and rust. Whereas this is free from any of those AS WELL AS receiving an EPQ designation from PMG. Out of a total of 196 notes graded, 10 examples have received the EPQ designation and of that only 2 notes are of a higher grade than this! A perfect opportunity for any collectors wishing to upgrade!
