(x) Bank of China, obverse photographic proof for unissued design of 5 yuan, Year 1 (1912), black and white, building vignette at right (same vignette was used on Provincial Bank of Kwangtung 1918 10 yuan).
PMG 63, previously mounted. One of the design proposals for the first Republic of China banknote issues with these losing out to the Huang Di issues. Similar design was later used on the 1917 issue replacing the building vignette with Li Yuan Hong. Interesting and unique
