Far Eastern Timber Company, Russia / Siberia, 5 yen, Taisho Year 11 (1922), serial number 258, printed by Toppan Printing Factory, reverse text "denominations of 50 sen, 1 and 5 yen issued",
pinholes, minor stain, minor paper damage, very fine. Was issued during the "Japanese Siberian Intervention", where they had over 72,000 troops in the area. Which meant the region's rich natural resources like timber, coal and fish were exported to Japan on a massive scale. Therefore this was likely issued for internal use for Japanese workers in the timber company. Very rare and interesting
