1952 The "Hong Kong Miss Universe Pageant" booklet, with minor spine revisions, contains detailed photos of the contestants, along with the pageant schedule and rules. One of the contestants, Miss Judy Dan, not only won the fourth Miss Hong Kong title, but also represented Hong Kong in the first Miss Universe pageant in June of the same year, finishing in fourth place, a feat that became a household name. Also included are two 1952 Sing Tao Pictorial issues (Issues 239 and 240), both featuring coverage of the pageant in Hong Kong. This is a rare resource for early Hong Kong beauty pageants.


1952年 "香港區競選世界小姐選美會群芳譜" 小册, 書脊有小修補, 小册內詳盡刊出當年各參選佳麗照片及選美會日程及規章. 當年參選佳麗之一但茱迪小姐除了成為第四屆香港小姐冠軍外, 同年6月代表香港參加第一屆環球小姐競選並取得殿軍. 一時成為佳話. 另外附有1952年星島畫報两份(239及240期), 皆有當日在選美的報導. 難得的香港早年選美素材.
