1945 The "Hong Kong Monthly" was a rare publication during the Japanese occupied period in Hong Kong. Its first issue (July 1945) was published by the Hong Kong Daily (the Sing Tao Daily before the fall of Hong Kong). Although the back cover and pages 87 to 96 are missing from this lot, it still provides valuable information on the literary and social conditions of Hong Kong during the final years of the Japanese colonial period. All printed in Chinese.


1945年日治香港時期罕見 "香島月報", 創刊號(民國三十四年七月號), 由香島日報 (香港淪陷前的星島日報) 發行, 此拍品封底及由87至96頁缺失, 雖然如此, 亦可從此拍品中了解日治香港未期的文藝及社會狀况的難得材料. 註: 據資料香島月報只出了两期, 而第二期因日本投降而未及全面發行. 故第二期更為罕見.
