Departmento de Emision del Banco de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay, obverse and reverse unissued design 500 pesos, 1966, with colour bars at top margin,
(Pick unlisted), both PMG 67EPQ. Unissued designs that were prepared for 'El Departamento de emission del Banco de la Republica Oriental de Uruguay'. Note this design was later used for the Banco Central de Uruguay 1966 issue which was then printed by De La Rue, while these unissued designs were printed by United States Banknote Company. Likely to be proposals from USBC to win the printing contract. Very unusual (2)
