1912 (December 28) Registered Cover from Shanghai to England via Siberia, franked with Republic issues 1c(2), 2c, 3c, 5c & 10c, all tied by Shanghai bilingual daters, Shanghai Chine and framed "R Shanghai" with manuscript number handstamp alongside, on reverse oval Registered Portsmouth & London arrival markings, scarce first month usage of this issue, only a handful covers known, front and back detached, nevertheless a striking example.
