1881 (November 21) Japan 2s Green Postal Card from Peking to USA, bearing IG of Customs Peking despatch cds in blue, upon arrival in Tientsin, Customs Tientsin November 23 cds applied and 3ca thin paper Large Dragon added (stamp removed with water stain marks, later re-affixed), tied by Chinese "Tientsin" seal cancel, Customs Shanghai DE 1 81 transit cds and IJPA Shanghai DEC 14 cds alongside with Yokohama (black) and San Francisco (red) transit cds, the only recorded usage of Large Dragon stamp on Japanese postal cards and extremely unusual IJPA cancellation according to Mr James Hwang, illustrated on page 209 of "A Comprehensive Illustration on Covers of Chinese Large Dragons", ex James B Hwang.
