New Zealand 1970 (1 Oct.) Christmas 3c. with green omitted, fine. With normal for comparison. Pierron NZ1888MCa, £275; C.P. SC11b(Z); S.G. 944a, £275. Photo Estimate £ 100-120 Note: The missing green results in the loss of the country name, inscription and value. Various shades of green remain in the main design as these were created by the mixing of the four process colours – cyan, yellow, magenta and black. By contrast, the country name, inscription and value were printed using a separate dark green ink, presumably so that any late change in postal rate wouldn´t affect the remainder of the design
