Ghana 1967 (1 June) Issue 1 1/2np. lower right corner block of six (3x2) with plate numbers, each with blue omitted, fine. Rare. Pierron GH922MCa, £2,500; S.G. 461a, £1,500+. Photo Estimate £ 800-1,000 Note: The missing blue affects the bird´s head and body causing it to appear in the pinkish underlay colour. It also results in the loss of the green value, created by the mix of blue and yellow inks. The error exists on both gum arabic and PVA gum. It is known in a PVA gum plate block (normally 1D–1D–1D–1D–1D) missing 1D referencing blue – which came from pane number 47538.
