x New South Wales 1853 (25 June) entire from Albury, via Sydney, to Scotland, bearing Laureated 1d. (cut-into) and 2d. (2, one cut-into) clearly cancelled "50", returned to Albury from Sydney for 2d. extra postage, which delayed the letter for over a month, showing manuscript "To pay 2d" with, on reverse, Albury (25.6 and 2.8), Ship Letter Sydney (5.7 and 13.8), London (26.12), Edinburgh (27.12) and Perth datestamps. The envelope rather creased and crumpled, and with stain at right, nevertheless a most intriguing cover. Photo Estimate £ 150-180
