A collection of Chinese certificates comprising Canton Kowloon Railway 5% Loan, 1907, £100 bond, good very fine; 1908 5%/4 1/2% Gold Loan, £100 bond issued by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, small tear at right edge, repaired tear at top, otherwise about very fine, and £20 bond issued by the Banque de L´Indo Chine, edge tears; Tientsin Pukow Railway, 5% Loan, 1908, £100 bond, £50 paid, rare but has much ink smudging; Chinese Imperial Railway, 5% loan, 1899, £100 bond, tears at left and right edges, slight discolouration, about very fine; Lung Tsing U Hai, 4 different unissued bonds from the reserve stock from 1913, 1920, 1921 and 1923, extremely fine; others (4), including Marconi £100, Petchili, £20, Vickers, £100 and first issue share in the Banque Industrielle de Chine, 1913, a useful lot but in varied condition (13) Estimate £ 400
