Cambridge Cemetery Company, £10 share, 1843, no. 73, issued to Ebenezer Foster and signed by him and George Ebenezer Foster as Directors, black, very fine. The cemetery of some 15 acres was situated on the North side of Mill Road and was consecrated in 1848. The Baptist Foster family were mill owners and founded a very successful bank in the town. They were heavily involved in many local businesses and projects and Ebenezer served as mayor in 1836/37. Fosters bank was sold to Lloyds bank in 1918. Estimate £ 80
