Cinema-Television Limited, 6d deferred shares, 1942, scrollwork at left, black on pink paper, good very fine. Baird Television was formed in 1927 and a controlling interest was obtained by cinema operator Isidore Ostrer. A seperate company, above, was formed in 1940 to continue his work with live broadcasts at his cinemas. Became part of the Rank group and renamed Rank Cintel Ltd. in 1958.
