Great Yarmouth Wellington Pier Company, £10 share, 1854, issued to Viscount Ranelagh, black on buff paper, attractive embossed seal, small spike hole at top left corner, good very fine. Opened as a wooden structure in 1853 and purchased by the Council in 1900. Pavilion built and pier reconstructed and opened again in 1903. The Winter Gardens were transported from Torquay and became part of the pier complex. The pier survived into the 1980´s with various shows being held there during the summer. Estimate £ 50
