McDonald´s Puncture-Proof Pneumatic Tyre Co. Ltd., £1 shares, fully paid, no.409, 1893, red, good very fine. The pneumatic tyre was introduced commercially in the late 1880´s by Dunlop and although it revolutionised the tyre market, roads were still poor and tyres were often punctured.
