Thames and Severn Canal Navigation, an unissued general bond, 1783, vignettes at top of bridges over the canal, black printing, on vellum, almost extremely fine. An interesting piece on which the amount lent to the company and the interest rate were to be inserted by hand. We have seen issued pieces but they are usually cancelled by cutting away the bottom right of the document which bore the company seal. Estimate £ 200
