Early Uninscribed, Cantii, AR Unit, 1.35g, ´handlebar´ type, two branched handlebar motifs with ´lobster claw´ annulet terminals, a pellet in ring either side, rev. horse left with annulet joints, his legs seemingly on backwards (BMC-; cf. CCI 92.0720, 96.2896, 97.0990; M-; S.-; VA-; BNJ 1992, no.189), good very fine, very rare Estimate £ 600-800 Only four examples are known of this rare type in the CCI, all from the same pair of dies.
