Bowers 2/R.Ir.Rif. ´´In recognition of valuable services rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders.´´ 9-14104 Sergeant R.B. Bowers served during the Great War and is also entitled to a Trio and a Belgian Croix de Guerre (London Gazette 4.9.1919), the latter was awarded to him for services whilst attached to the 117th Infantry Brigade.
