Military General Service 1793-1814, one clasp, Albuhera (J. Trench, Serjt. Waggon Train.), very fine Estimate £ 650-750 Mullen´´s transcription of the M.G.S. roll is at variance with the details recorded on this medal, he gives the recipient as ´´J. French´´ and as being entitled to the ´´Nive´´ clasp only. However he also records this M.G.S. named to Sjt. J. Trench with the ´´Albuhera´´ clasp as being in a private collection. The recipient´´s service papers show his name spelt as ´´John Trench´´. The medal appears entirely as issued.
