R.N.); Naval Long Service & G.C., G.V.R., 1st ´Admiral´s bust´ type (201875 Harry Blewden, Ldg. Sean, H.M.S. Woolwich); Italy, Kingdom, Messina Earthquake Medal 1908, silver, unnamed as issued, first two nearly very fine, otherwise very fine or better (7) Estimate £ 500-600 201875 Petty Officer Harry Blewden, born Kingston, Hampshire, 1881; joined the Royal Navy as Boy Second Class, 1899; served in H.M.S. Terrible, September 1899-October 1902, encompassing service in both the Third China War and the Second Boer War; served in H.M.S. Euryalus during the Messina Earthquake disaster, 1908, and was one of those who landed from the ship to participate in the rescue operations; served H.M.S.
