x Three: Sergeant H. Lloyd, 20th Foot Crimea 1854-56, four clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (Corpl. Hy. Lloyd. 20th. Foot.), engraved in large serif capitals; Indian Mutiny 1857-58, one clasp, Lucknow (Serjt. H. Lloyd, 1st. Bn. 20th. Regt.); Turkish Crimea, British die, unnamed as issued, with original pierced ring suspension, good very fine, contained in an attractive gilt frame, with ´pressed flowers´ mount (3) Estimate £ 500-600 3409 Sergeant Henry Lloyd, enlisted in the 20th Foot, January 1850; joined the Regiment in Montreal, arriving in Canada aboard the Java, May 1850; arrived with the Regiment back in England, July 1853; embarked with the Regiment for the Crimea, July 1854; arrived near Lake Saki, September 1854; present at the Battle of Alma, 20.9.1854; Balaklava, 25.10.1854; Inkermann, 5.11.1854; served on the Heights above Sebastopol, and in the camp before Sebastopol; to Scutari Depot, January 1855; invalided to England, March 1855; embarked with the Regiment for India, arriving in Calcutta November 1857; joined 4th Division under Brigadier Franks in the Jaunpore district, March 1858, and saw much action against the Mutineers at Lucknow; returned to England, April 1860; discharged November 1860.
