x North West Canada 1885, one clasp, Saskatchewan (A.T. Murray Cosnt. N.W.M.P.), engraved in upright sans-serif capitals, nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 380-420 425 Constable Arthur Thomas Murray a native of Toronto; enlisted in the North West Mounted Police at Fort Walsh, 25.6.1880; he was accidentally shot in the shoulder by a fellow constable near Maple Creek, 1882; he served in the Riel Rebellion and at the Duck Lake Engagement and was discharged, 10.8.1885; moved to California 1910, and died at Mary´´s Help Hospital in San Francisco in 1936.
