"Monarch"), light pitting, otherwise good very fine Estimate £ 180-220 Captain Thomas Legge Barnardiston, R.N., born Sudbury, 1866; commissioned Midshipman 1881; service included in H.M.S. Monarch, 1.1.1882-25.4.1885, and to H.M.S. Victor Emmanuel, for duty at Kowloon Torpedo Depot, from 24.8.1893; advanced Commander, 31.12.1900; Captain 31.12.1905; retired at his own request, and died at Haslar Hosital, 6.2.1912.
