Gds.), officially impressed, suspension claw tightened, light contact marks to obverse, otherwise good very fine Estimate £ 800-1,200 823 Private Thomas Robertson, born Linlithgow, Scotland; enlisted 4th Dragoon Guards, 1845; left with the Regiment for the Crimea, May 1854; WO12/270 shows Robertson being present at the muster for October 31st 1854 which covered the battle of Balaklava and the Charge of the Heavy Brigade; he arrived back in England, 1.7.1856 and purchased his discharge in 1859.
