"Lynx" 1854-57), engraved in upper and lower case serif letters, with retaining rod between clasps, minor edge bruising, therefore very fine Estimate £ 200-240 John Marwood, born 1827; served as Assistant Engineer 3rd Class in H.M.S. Lynx, 28.7.1854-18.5.1857; commissioned Engineer 1860; later service included in H.M.S.´´s Cressy, Hero, Philomel, Asia and Bellerophon; Chief Engineer 1870; retired 1882.
