x A Fine Waterloo and Army of India Pair to Corporal T. Morgan, 14th Foot Waterloo 1815 (Thomas Morgan, 3rd Batt. 14th Reg. Foot.), minor edge nicks, with a later heavy silver clip and hinged bar suspension; Army of India 1799-1826, short hyphen reverse die type, one clasp, Bhurtpoor (T. Morgan. 14th Foot.), officially impressed, light contact marks, otherwise good very fine, and scarce (2) Estimate £ 2,500-3,000 Corporal Thomas Morgan, born Reading, Berkshire; enlisted (from the Berkshire Militia) 3rd Battalion 14th Foot, 1813; served in Captain William Turner´´s Company during the Waterloo Campaign, also taking part in the storming of Cambrai and the advance into France; transferred 2nd Battalion, 2.5.1816, and travelled to India with the battalion serving in the Siege and Capture of Bhurtpoor, 1826; Corporal 1828; discharged 1831.
