China 1858 (Sept.) G.B. 1d. pink postal stationery envelope "From Sergeant G. Mitchell Royal Marines Lt. Infantry Canton China 26th. Sep/58" to England, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and cancelled at London with "42" obliterator, Swanage arrival c.d.s. (10.11) in blue at left, the reverse with Hong Kong (26.9), London (18.11) and Wareham (18.11) c.d.s.; the envelope with sender´s name and part of the address deleted though a rare and early use of stationery from the canton Rebellion.
