Uganda 1895 (Nov.) Narrow Letters in Violet, Narrow Stamps The ribbon was changed to violet, producing stamps with violet letters and numerals. No 60(c.) value was printed; however, a 100(c.) value was now printed 20(c.) horizontal pair with sheet margin at foot, part borders on the other sides with rough margin at right, cancelled by blue crayon cross and in manuscript "Koki, 11/8/96" by Richard H. Leakey; large tear and small hole at foot from dividing border between stamps. Fine appearance and scarce cancellation. S.G. 38, £600+.
