Uganda 1895 (May) Narrow Letters in Black, Narrow Stamps The Rev. Ernest Millar received a new Barlock typewriter during May 1895. It had a slightly narrower type-face, the difference between this and the previous issue being more apparent in the letters than the numerals. The format remained as before and the stamps varied in width from 16mm. to 18mm. 25(c.) and 30(c.) unused horizontal pairs tête-bêche with intervening sheet make-up summary showing "450" corrected to "50", borders on two sides; the 30(c.) pair has sealed tear and one has tiny nick at foot.
