Burma The Indian Post Office Cancellations The Duplex cancellations, Davis Figs. 18-24 — 1872 (Jan.) double rate envelope "Via Brindisi" to Genoa, bearing 6a.8p. grey pair neatly cancelled with "rangoon/156" duplex (Type 21) and with "PD" h.s. towards foot, the reverse with Calcutta and Genoa (23.2) c.d.s.; trivial imperfections though a scarce double rate franking to an unusual destination.
