Sudan Egypt Used In Sudan wadi halfa: 1885 (Feb.) envelope to a member of the Telegraph Section of Royal Engineers, Bechuanaland and subsequently marked "Barkly West" in another hand, bearing 20pa. on 5pi. pair cancelled with "wadi-halfa" bi-lingual c.d.s. and with another strike alongside, showing "5d" tax h.s. apparently overcancelled "1" in oval of bars and with manuscript "1/1" at left, the reverse with Alexandria (17.2) and Kimberley (22.3) c.d.s.; a most unusual destination for mail at this time Estimate £ 150-200
