Nova Scotia 1860-63 Decimal Issue Covers 1865 (2 Aug.) orange-brown envelope from Bridgwater to Harbor Grace, Newfoundland franked at the 13 1/2c. rate from interior (10c. plus 3 1/2c. supplement) with 5c. blue and 8 1/2c. green cancelled with oval of bars, faint arrival c.d.s. alongside, the reverse with despatch, Halifax (3.8) and St. John (7.8) d.s.; the envelope with crease at top and with two Seybold and two Brouse handstamps on reverse, nevertheless an attractive example of this exceptionally rare rate.
