India 1891 (2 Mar.) entire from Calcutta "per Str Nowshera" to Reunion, bearing 1882-90 1a. brown-purple vertical strip of three twice cancelled and tied by "Stamped" h.s. in blue in the same colour as the sender´s cachet, no Indian Post Office marks and possibly carried privately to Mauritius where a "forwarded by scott & co" "belt and buckle" f.a.c. was applied and additionally franked with 1883-94 2c. green and 4c. carmine (2) twice cancelled "B53" (one defective) and with Mauritius despatch c.d.s. (24.3) on reverse; the face panel and part of reverse with some stains though a rare and most unusual "combination" franking. Scheller Certificate (2009). Photo Estimate £ 600-800
