India 1854 Issue Covers 1857 (3 Oct.) envelope registered from Ahmednagar to Bombay, bearing 2a. green cancelled with diamond of bars and showing framed "regd no" h.s. in red alongside, the reverse with despatch and arrival (8.11) c.d.s.; the envelope a little aged and with minor creases though a scarce stamp used alone on registered mail.
