India 1854 Issue Covers 1857 (29 Aug.) envelope from Madras "overland via Marseilles" to London, bearing 2a. green (2) and 4a. 4th. Printing blue and red (cut-to-shape) each lightly cancelled with diamond of dots and all three sharing and tied by London Paid d.s. (1.10), showing crescent-shaped "india paid" and, on reverse, despatch and arrival (1.10) d.s.; the envelope with flap missing and with tear at top though an attractive franking; also undated part entire from Chupra bearing 1a. Die I (2) and 4a. 4th. Printing (2, both cut-to-shape) each cancelled "B/57". Scheller Certificate (2007) for each Estimate £ 150-200
