Cook Islands Aitutaki Covers 1923 envelope to Johannesburg and redirected locally, bearing 1920 1/2d. block of four; 1928-32 selection of covers/cards (9) bearing a variety of values including 1920 1/2d. pair, 1 1/2d., 3d. (2), 6d. and 1927 1/2d. strip and block of four; fine with stamps alone catalogued £338. Also 1942 (18 Dec.) envelope from Aitutaki to Fiji, marked "First Air Mail Aitutaki to Fiji" and with arrival c.d.s. (30.12) on reverse; also unused picture postcards (8) showing a variety of scenes including H.M.S. Chalenger Band and 1915 postcard from New Zealand to Aitutaki showing superb "passed by the/military censor/n.z." cachet in violet. A fine group Estimate £ 250-300
