Burma The Indian Post Office Cancellations The "Crescent" Duplex, Fig. 42 1893 (2 June) envelope from Mandalay to London bearing 1/2a. and 9p. pairs each cancelled with a fine strike of the "mandalay/z" duplex, upon arrival redirected to Weston-Super-Mare with additional of 1d. lilac cancelled with London triple-ring d.s. (20.7); the reverse with Bombay and London d.s.; surely the prettiest of the few examples recorded of this rare cancellation. Photo Estimate £ 300-400
