Fidelity interest bearing notes for 5%, 100 marka, 1 May 1919, serie A, serial number 6172, grey-lilac, value at centre and at each corner, circular handstamp at right, reverse grey-lilac, value at left and right (Pivk 2A,Tohv 7), good very fine, rare. The initial idea of printing Fidelity notes was to use them for taking internal loans. I relation to the failure of the idea the notes were subsequently put into circulation as currency.On 16th January 1919 these notes were declared legal tender. Most were redeemed thus these notes are rare. Estimate £ 200-300
