x Great Britain Postal History Parliamentary Mail House of Lords Envelope: 1840 (3 Mar.) One Penny Post Paid envelope in red to Durham bearing a fine strike of the crowned Paid c.d.s.; the contents were overweight and with manuscript "More to pay", manuscript "1" and "more/to/pay" in double circle in red; manuscript notation at right of the sender, the Lord of Chester. Fine and desirable. This is the only recorded example of an underpaid Parliamentary envelope. S.G. PE3, £25,000. Photo Estimate £ 12,000-15,000
