Great Britain Surface Printed 1855-57 No Corner Letters 4d. rose, watermark Large Garter, single and horizontal wing margin pair, tied by 1860 (23 Apr.) London "WC/9" duplex cancellation on envelope addressed to Mrs. Louise Collins in New York, red "paid" and "21/cents" accountancy handstamp, oval "advertised" and red "sent back to england/without a reason/for non-delivery", endorsed on reverse in the hand of the sender "If Mrs. Collins has left this letter need not be returned"; the envelope a little soiled and the adhesives slightly discoloured, otherwise fine.
