Great Britain Line Engraved 1856-58 Large Crown, Perforation 14 1d. rose-red, twelve examples (including a strip of four), tied by London "S/22" duplex cancellations of on 1863 (10 Jan.) envelope with embossed "emancipation society" on flap, addressed to Boston, red "5 cents" accountancy handstamp and arrival datestamp; some adhesives affixed close or slightly overlapping the edge resulting in a few minor imperfections, otherwise fine.
