An Officer´s Shako Plate of the West York Militia A good white metal crowned star, 4 1/8in. high, mounted with a rose within the strings of a bugle-horn, in a circlet inscribed SECOND WEST YORK MILITIA, fixing loops at rear. An Officer´s Pouchbelt Plate of the Huddersfield Rifle Corps A white metal crowned plate, approximately 3 1/4in. high, mounted with crossed bugle-horns within a circle inside an oak and laurel wreath, a scroll beneath the Crown with regimental title, and another scroll below with motto ARMA PACIS FULCRA. With backing plate and three fixing bolts, complete with bolts, at rear. (2) Estimate £ 250-300 Note: A contemporary plate of the 3rd West York Militia is illustrated in KK Fig 1253
