Great Britain 1841 Two Pence Blue Plate 4 Plate 4 AA-AF, violet-blue shade on thicker lavender tinted paper, horizontal strip of six, AE and AF very close or just touched at one side, otherwise margins all round, tied by "466" 1844-type cancellations of Liverpool on entire dated 1852 (2 Apr.) addressed to New Orleans, despatch datestamp and oval "L/ AP 2/A" on reverse, on front "paid", "5/cents" and "br. packet boston" (16.4) all in red; adhesives lifted and pressed, the address panel with small internal split which does not detract from the wonderful appearance of this very rare and extremely attractive entire.
