Great Britain Line Engraved 1841 Two Pence Plate 3 NI, QE, NG, EE, CH and QB, all touched or cut-into at places, tied by London District "8" cancellations on 1849 (6 Aug.) entire letter to Salem Massachusetts and sent stampless to London from Penang, a variety of transit and arrival markings including, on the reverse, a barely legible "PENANG/Post Paid"; some faults but a remarkable franking and very rare.
