Great Britain Line Engraved 1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Unplated EA, tied by "367" barred oval cancellation to entire letter dated 5 Dec. 1845 from Hitchen addressed to the Cape of Good Hope, close to good margins all round, red manuscript "8" paying the single Ship Letter rate, tombstone "PAID" datestamp and red crowned "paid ship letter london" datestamp of 6 Dec. alongside; fine and a scarce usage to an overseas address.
