Great Britain Line Engraved 1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Later Plates Plate 135 on lavender tinted paper, JD, margins all round, used on entire letter dated 20 July 1852 addressed to the Lord Dunsany, Francensbad, Bohemia, Chester-Le-Street c.d.s. of 21 July alongside and red London Paid c.d.s. of 22 July and rated 1/4 in red manuscript, on reverse blue Pence House (21 July) and a variety of other transit and arrival datestamps, filing folds and slight stains, nevertheless a rare and spectacular 1d. franking to an overseas address.
